On the 1900 Census for the Sam and Hattie.(Siegel) Rosenberg family, Hattie is listed as 6 born, 6 living - and 6 children are listed.
Unfortunately, the family members were not consistent with their name usage over the years.
We currently have 7 children, which is 1 too many.
This profile currently shows as being named Leon Lee George Rosenberg.
I am thinking it should probably be merged into one of the following two profiles
A) The same child of Sam and Hattie.(Siegel) Rosenberg appears
--On the 1900 Census as Isadore - born May 1888 - age 12 - born Vermont
--On the 1910 Census as Irving - age 20 - born Vermont
--On 1910 Marriage Record as Irwin G. Rosenberg -- Age 22 -- Birthplace Burlington, VT -- Father's Name Samuel Rosenberg -- Mother's Name Hattie Siegel
This person currently appears on Geni as Irwin George Rosenberg with Isadore and Irving in the Also Known As Field.
B) Another child of Sam and Hattie.(Siegel) Rosenberg family appears
--On the 1900 Census as Jacob - born Feb 1894 - age 6 - born Vermont
--On the 1910 Census as Leon - age 16 or 15 [2nd digit looks like 5 overwritten with 6]- born Vermont
This person currently appears on Geni as Jacob Leon Rosenberg
Think I have it.
There is in the California, U.S., Death Index, 1940-1997 (per AncestryLibrary):
Lee George Ross -- SSN -- Birth Date: 11 Feb 1895 -- Birth Place: Vermont -- Death Date: 18 Jun 1992 -- Death Place: Los Angeles -- Father's Surname: Rosenberg
And there is a WWI Draft Reg. for Lee George Rosenberg - listed as born January 12, 1894 in Burlington, VT -- with a statement on the back: Theatrical Name (Lee George Ross) - and he is listed as living at 111 113th St - the next address to where this Rosenberg family was living in 1915 (109 113th St)
So Leon Lee George Rosenberg is the child listed on the 1900 Census as Jacob Rosenberg. And while his Birth Surname should stay Rosenberg, his last name should probably change to Ross
