According to U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700, Third Supplement to Torrey´s New England Marriages Prior to 1700
pg 67 (Ancestry.com),
COOPER, Thomas (bp 1626/7-) & Mary RAYNOR, dau of Thurston; m c 1665 [GM 2:204]

Does this mean they married circa 1665? It would be a problem if Tacy was born 1609, and they married 1665.

Tacy's mother is Mary Cooper, daughter of Edward Raynor.

Mary's brother was Thurston Raynor, of Elmsett & Southold. And Mary had a son (Tacy's brother) named Thomas Cooper.

So without looking at any other sources (which we need to do!), my guess is that Thurston had another daughter, who we're not currently showing, named Mary, and that this younger Mary married her cousin Thomas, the elder Mary's son.

Our friend Erica shows this on Thomas' profile: "Born to him during his 2nd marriage, to Martha (WOOD) were: Mary, Abigail, Deborah, Hannah, and Jonathan."

So that's probably it, though I don't have time to dig through sources at the moment.
