I don't think Hamilton Elmore Ellis and Iaminda Collings are her parents. There was a couple by the same names in Indiana in the 1800's. I think a lot of people are copying a mistake

There are often cases where you find couples with the same name as the pair for whom you are searching. This couple from Indiana could be a coincidence, but Isaminda is an unusual name.
Others guess Mary's parents were Susanna Chapman and Richard Ellis.
