Matthew was a clock maker and the last child to live with his father, William. On his death certificate, he lists William's birth location as Glasgow, Scotland. This is the first time we see Scotland listed. Additionally, they lived with a Cornelia Campbell whose identity has yet to be determined. He was also listed as "WIDOWED" at the time of his death but his wife's identity is also unknown.
