Set 2

I don't think that Francis Trezise and Mary Trezise can be the parents of Elizabeth Williams - Oliver - Johns
Neither set are correct; Elizabeth Tresize was the daughter of James Tresize & Elizabeth Nankeris of St Just-in-Penwith, Cornwall. They married 2 September 1815 at St Just.
They had six children, of whom Elizabeth is the third child [& second Elizabeth]
Elizabeth Trezise was baptised 15 Nov 1818 at St Just
Her three marriages are detailed on her profile, but she gave her father's name as Francis Tresize each time
Elizabeth was the stepmother of my Great Great Grandfather James Henry Johns [from John Bolitho John's first marriage].
She had a rather complicated and tragic life [not as tragic as her daughter who was [probably quite unjustly ] hung for murder.
She died at the home of her daughter from her first [William's] marriage & registered at least one of her stepson James Henry John's children in 1871, so still part of "my" family even after John Bolitho John's death three years earlier.
Sources are are the the Parish Register of St Just-in-Penwith [for Williams marriage & her baptism], Marriage Certificate for Oliver marriage[I don't have this, but have another relative who does], her marriage record for Adelaide to John Bolitho Johns. Her complicated family life connects these three marriages to the same person; she dies at the home of her Williams daughter, her Oliver daughter [hung for murder] lived with John Bolitho Johns & Elizabeth & she registers children of her stepson James Henry Johns.
Matthew Trezise did have a daughter Elizabeth, baptised in 1820, BUT she is with her family in the 1841 Census;
In the 1841 Census the family was at Kenwyn, Cornwall;
Matthew Trezise aged 45, a miner, born in County, Jane Trezise age 40, Elizabeth Tresize aged 20, Ann Trezise aged 15, Jane Trezise aged 12, Francis Trezise aged 10, Emma Trezise aged 8, Susanna Trezise aged 6, Catherine Trezise aged 3 and Anna Trezise aged 2.
So, this Elizabeth [apart from the fact that she does give the name of her father as James], cannot be the daughter of Matthew, as she was married in 1840, so cannot be with her family unmarried in 1841.
