Amelia (Veale) Carter - Maiden Name

Curious why her maiden name is Veale instead of Whaley like her family. Was she adopted or is she incorrectly connected? There aren't any profiles notes to explain the surname difference.

If you look at the revisions tab there are a couple of bad merges for a curator to undo

Also looks like two different Peter Carters but not sure.

I don't know the lines. I was just tracing a line in a tree of a DNA match and saw that they had her name as Amelia Amelia Carter (Veale), so I went in to remove one of the duplicate first names and kept misspelling Veale. lol But that's who I ended up noticing the surname issue. And that's all I really know about them. I thought 'maybe' I shared Carter lines with the DNA match but it turns out we're related on Suddarth lines.
