I see I can no longer see an Activity Tab on the Profile of anybody I am Blocking
Nor of anybody that is Blocking me.
This is a very recent change.

Curators -- are you also unable to see the Activity Tab on those you Block and/or are Blocking you,
or is this only something that affects non-Curators?

On the other hand, the Button to Follow those folks is still Present.
I can guarantee you I do not want anyone I have Blocked "Following" Me.

You're seem to be asking for a clarification for an apparent change to software, you need to ask Staff not Curators.

If you want to Block me then tag me here to let me know I'll come back later today and share a screenshot of what I can see when I look at your profile.

The Follow button being available to people you are Blocking is counter to the concept so sounds like an inadvertent change rather than intentional.

Alex, if you are not blocking anyone and are not aware of anyone blocking you, that is great.

Many times I have seen Curators posting that they cannot help so-and-so because that person is blocking them, so I know there are many Curators out there who are aware of such, and so could look and report what they see.
I also know many are also blocking people, and so can check and report on the effects of that.

The Follow Button being available is not a change.

Curators can see full names of Private Profiles - Publicly posting a Screen-Shot of my Profile with full names of all myself and my immediate family showing would be a major violation of their Privacy and mine.

Mike undoubtedly knows what is supposed to be happening.
Staff in Customer Service often do not, or so they have said..
Users - Basic, Pro, Curators - know what they actually are experiencing happening.

I do not think there’s been any changes in the blocking function
pretty sure it is more or less the same for basic, pro & curators
looking at someone who has blocked me, I cannot
- view their private/ living managed profiles & close family
- cannot view their profile, including activity tab
- cannot send a message
- can “view tree”

That Blocking or being Blocked meant could not send the other a message, could not receive a message from them has been true, I believe, from the beginning. Certainly over a Decade.

Up until at most a month ago, I think more recently, I could look at the Activity Tab of those I had blocked and those who had blocked me. No different than those with no blocking going on.
Now that Tab does not appear at all if there is blocking.

Immediate Family looks the same to me on a Person outside my Family Group whether or not there is blocking - which means most immediate Family Members appear as <private> LastName, etc.

I think Curators got a slightly different treatment because their "normal for Curator" view included so much more than the "normal" for Pro or Basic when looking at someone outside their Family Group.

Have never been able to see the activity (or any other) tab of a person who blocked me.
