From FaG:
"Benjamin Moore, the pioneer, located 100 acres on the south side of the Rancocas adjoing John Haines, The survey was recorded in the "llth month, 1683", and reads:
"Return of Survey by Daniel Leeds for Benjamin Moore, of 100 acres on the South branch of Northampton River between John Haynes and a small Creek"
The brick house erected by Joseph Moore, s/o Benjamin, who married Patience Woolman, sister of the Journalist, in 1754 is still standing. The letter "M" and the year 1754 appear on the western end of the house. The letters j & P evidently were obliterated when the two windows were inserted. The two adjoing farms extended "back into the woods" exactly one mile".
