Hello all I wanted to start this discussion to keep up with the developments in regards to the ancestry of Jeanne De Portebise. There is pending research showing a gateway back to Henry III King of England that is soon to be published in L’Ancêtre, revue de la Société de Généalogie de Québec. The title will be: “Ascendance des sœurs Boyleau jusqu’à Henri III d'Angleterre.”
In the mean time there is discussion of her parents being Pierre de Portebise and Marguerite d' Argerson?
This will be interesting conversation as new developments unfold.
