The mother differs: Sarah Schindler v Frieda

The year of death differs: 1907 v 1922.

date of death is May 5, 2022 according to the gravestone photo on findagrave https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/70505062 and this Tennesee death certificate: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N9R4-PQJ

There are two Israel Rubensteins. The one who died in 1922 was my great-grandmother's father. The one who died is 1907 was his father. Sometimes his father was referred to as Isar in the records.

Hi Ashley,
I think there are many doubled profiles here.

It doesn't make sense that a father and a son are both called "Israel".

There are 2 profiles for Isser Rubenstein who died in 1907
Isar Rubenstein
Isser Rubenstein

and there are 2 profiles for Israel Rubenstein (1850-1922)
Israel (Sroel) Rubenstein
Israel (Sroel) Rubenstein

I also think it is a mistake that Isser married Sarah Schindler. I think his wife was Frieda.

Chanan--There are two Israel Rubensteins. The one who died in 1922 was my great-grandmother's father. He was married to Etta Rebecca Fleischer. The one who died in 1907 was his father who was referred to as Isar and Israel depending on the record. I have pictures of Israel Rubenstein (1922 death) grave, and it says "son of Isar" in Hebrew. Other records have him as Israel including the article that reports he died in 1907 which lists all his children. The older Israel (d. 1907) had more than one wife (Sarah and Frieda) as there were half-brothers with different mothers listed on their death certificates or in newspaper articles. I don't update the tree here or do any merging bc I don't want my information messed up. It is there for getting information to help me in my tree on another website. I am related to Morton Engelberg who has the other tree you are referring to.
