When I added my 2nd cousin from my gedcom upload, I had him attached to the wrong mother. He did not know how to change the connection to his actual mother. He has since lost access to his old account and has started a different account of which is connected to the correct mother.

This is the best place to ask for help from Curators: https://www.geni.com/discussions/257430

Rather than deleting the currently claimed profile, it might be best to merge the versions and sever the bad relationship - but a Curator could advise on that.
To merge and sever the wrong relationship, they would probably need see the request come from Sean, not (just) from you.

He can also contact Geni about it. See do I contact Geni about my subscription?

Probably the easiest solution is for him to contact Geni and let them handle it.
