Hi Annber Lynn Collins

Morgan Bryan Is DNA proven as not related to William Smith Bryan, I

It appears to me that the pedigree described in “The Bryan Lineage and Alliances” by Edward Bryan has therefore been disproved, in addition to other issues with it.

(I’m looking at https://drive.google.com/file/d/19yZFkUZvF8fGEwe8gfw9-1o8jIHkMR80/view)

So let’s leave him as “parents unknown” and work on cleaning up his descent.

See

“Ancestors of Morgan Bryan” By Paul Gifford July 06, 2007 < link >; (document attached). “I am going to try here to begin to explain how the alleged ancestry of Morgan Bryan (d. 1763), of Rowan County, North Carolina, was developed. It's an interesting lesson in how genealogical guesses develop into "facts," how early publication of such "facts" develops into "family traditions." …”

Adding other profiles of the descent I am talking about*

Francis Bryan, {possibly fictional}

It does show Francis as an Uncle

Sir Francis Bryan, KB, ‘The Vicar of Hell’

His Fathers line to me

https://www.geni.com/path/Annber-Collins+is+related+to+Sir-Thomas-B...

I knew the Boone married four times into the American Bryan line. I just found out they married a few times into the Forbe/Forbis via Morgan'l Bryans children and their children's children. Seems everyone just needs to be out in their right spot but that will take awhile.

Annber Lynn Collins - I’m sorry, but yes, you’re citing fraudulent and discredited pedigrees. All the Boone connections in America in the literature should be fine, but the Ireland connection is bogus. There are no primary sources until Morgan Bryan in noted in America about 1695.

Francis Bryan, {possibly fictional} Is possibly fictional. I’ll amend the profile to make that clearer.

William Smith Bryan Cannot have been related to Morgan Bryan
due to DNA testing:

Descendants of William Bryan are from "E" Haplogroup, specifically E-PH3735. Descendants of Morgan Bryan are "R" Haplogroup, specifically R-DC191.

Sir Francis Bryan, KB, ‘The Vicar of Hell’ Is thought to have had two children:

unknown Bryant - no further info after 1548.

Francis Bryan, (died young) - If he existed he died as a child.
