This birth information appears to be copied from a birth record showing Timothy and Elizabeth Bryan of York County, Virginia as parents--see record at FamilySearch:

Do we have anything at all to identify this couple, or to identify Sarah ______ Sessums as their daughter?

Do we have any information whatsoever that proves her family name was Bryan?

The only source we seem to have for the name "Sarah BRYAN" is after the death of her husband Thomas Sessums:

"Edgecombe County May Court 1769 The within will was exhibited in open court by the Executors and proved by the oath of Sarah Bryan who at the same time swore that she saw the other witness subscribe the same at the same time The executors therein Named was Qualilfied according to law. Ordered that the same be certified and the Will Recorded."

Sarah _____ Sessums may have married a Mr. Bryan after her husband's death.

We also don't appear to have any evidence identifying any specific Bryan parents (such as a will, land gift, etc.).

The attached parents are also problematic, as Needham Bryan (born 1690, m. Anne Rambeau) was certainly not a child of Edward Bryan and Christian Council, but of William Bryan and Alice MacLand.
