Hello,
My name is Rudy A. Falkenburg and I am a descendent of Izak Falkenburg. Izak is the father of my grand-father Louis Falkenburg. I was wondering whether you are related in any way to my Falkenburg or what the interest is.
Sincerely Yours
Rudy A. Falkenburg
Eersel, The Netherlands

Hello Rudy,

Thanks for writing. Yes I am related to Izak. He is my third cousin's husband's aunt's husband. Louis is my third cousin's husband's first cousin. So I assume that you and I are also related although I could not find your name on Geni.

I have many, many Dutch relatives and I am interested in learning more about any and all of them.

I hope that we can be friends.

Sincerely,

Dick Berger

Hi Dick,
there is someone in the Netherlands that made pedigrees for families with names Falkenburg, Valkenburg, Valkenburgh etc. and I have contributed information. You can find my pedigree in http://www.valkenburgh.nl/ped-groningen.html . Louis Falkenburg went in the early 1900 to Indonesia and mariied a half Dutch/Javanese woman, my grandmother Marie de Leeuw. Hence, the pedigree shows a Dutch/Jewish branch ( the siblings of my grand-father) and an Indo-European branch (off-springs from my grand-father Louis).

I, myself, married a Dutch woman and I am happily maried for 41 years. I was born in Batavia (former Dutch East Indies) and came to the Netherlands in October 1950. I hold a master degree in Chemical Engineering and have been an entrepreneur for the last 25 years. You can find some information about me in the news items of www.orient-technologies.com.

Regards,
Rudy

Dick, I forgot to mention that my father was Bernard Abraham Falkenburg, one of the sons of Louis.
Regards,
Rudy
