I do not think Richard Lee and Judith Steptoe Lee are the parents of this particular Lee family. DNA testing has shown that he was descended from John Lee Esquire and is not related to Robert E. Lee's family. There is another Thomas Lee and he may be the one related to Robert E. Lee.
I would like to hear from the other managers of this profile because this is in error and I do not know how to correct it on my tree.
