I am interested in the grandfather of Richard Mentor Johnson. Was he John Suggett who signed The Leedstown Resolves in 1766?

John Suggett's daughter Elizabeth "Betsey" married Brig. Gen. David Thomson. Their daughter, Marian Wallace Thomson, married Thomas Allen Gunnell. Their daughtrer, Eva Gunnell married John Bradley. They are parents of my father, Eugene A. who was born in 1888.

I believe Richard Mevtor Johnson was the son of John Suggett's daughter, Jamima. My father's siblings are: John, Thomas, Maybelle Bradley Loofborrow, Jenny Bradley Miller and Melcina Bradley Bennett.
