To my well beloved Wife Ann Two small Gold Rings. To the overseers of my Will Twenty shillings each to buy each of them a Ring. To son Stephen Rice all my Lands five hundred acres being upon St. James Point in Choptank in Maryland Three hundred and fifty acres more wch I bought of Mathew Kelly and Ignatious White called Hony Hill and Three hundred acres Lying neere ffarnham Creek where John Peacock now liveth and Joyning to it wch I have entered in the Secretarys Office and desire that overseere of this my Will to Escheat the sd Land to my son Stephen. All the remaining part of his estate to his wife Ann and son Stephen and appoints them Executrix and Executor of his will. I do order and appoint my son Stephen be sent to Ireland to my father when he is five years old there to be Educated so long as his Grandfather shall think fitt and what I have given him to remain in the hands of his mother untill he comes to the age of seventeen security being given for it but in Case the said Stephen should dye before he comes to the age of seventeen what I have here given him to Come to his mother if she be then living but if not then to fall to my Eldest sisters Eldest son in Ireland. I do order and appoint my good friends Col. Wm. Loyd, Capt. Tho: Matthews and John Bayly to be my overseers in trust and to do their Endeavour to see that neither my Wife nor Child be wrong'd or abused either in Body or Estate. Wit.
