LEWISVILLE - B.H. Mock Jr., 78, of Lewisville, passed away Feb. 20, 2005, at Salemtowne Retirement Community. He was born Dec. 30, 1926, in Perrine, Fla., son of the late B.H. Mock Sr. and Betty Conrad Mock. After serving as 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army, Mr. Mock went to work for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., where he was the factory manager, and retired after 34 and a half years of employment. He was active in Little League baseball and the church league softball teams. He enjoyed the mountains, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Wilder Mock, in 1980. He leaves behind his three children, Michael L. (Jan) Mock of Mount Pleasant, Wayne H. (Sandra) Mock of Lexington, and Pamela M. (David) Langill of Lewisville; a sister, Julia Ann Doub of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jonathan Mock, Christina and Laura Langill, and Tyler S. and Riley C. Mock; a stepson, Kevin Langill; and a special friend, Maxine Davis of Pfafftown. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Sunrise United Methodist Church in Lewisville. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sunrise United Methodist Church, 1111 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd., Lewisville, NC 27023. A special thanks to people and staff at Clemmons Village II.
