Prince Jan Jerzy Radziwill (January 8, 1588, Chernavchitsy - December 18, 1625, Kobrin) - statesman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Troksky castellan (1613-1625), 2nd ordinate of Nesvizh (1616-1625).
Biography
The representative of the richest magnate family of the Radziwills of the “Pipe” coat of arms, the eldest son of the voivode of the Trok and Vilna prince Nikolai Krzysztof Radziwill “Orphans” (1549-1616) from his marriage to Elzhbieta Efimiya Vishnevetskaya (1569-1596). The younger brothers are Albrecht Vladislav Radziwill from Vilna, and the governor of Novogrudok Zhigimont Karol Radziwill, the great Lithuanian marshal and governor of Polotsk Alexander Ludwik Radziwill.
He studied at the Jesuit colleges in Nesvizh, Branievo and Augsburg, then traveled around Germany and Italy. In 1611, Jan Jerzy Radziwiłł was elected ambassador to the Sejm, and in 1616 he was elected Marshal of the Tribunal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Supported the policy of the Polish king Sigismund III Vasa, was repeatedly a resident senator under the king.
In 1613, Jan Jerzy Radziwiłł received the position of Troksky's castellan. In 1616, after the death of his father Nikolai Krzysztof Radziwill, "Orphans" inherited the Nesvizh ordination, owned estates in Ukraine.
In 1619 he made a great trip abroad, during which he visited Germany, Belgium, England, France, Spain and Italy. In 1621 he entered the University of Padua, and in 1625 - the University of Bologna.
In the last year of the life of Jan Jerzy Radziwill (1625), an epidemic of plague broke out on the territory of modern Belarus (“pestilence”), from which he most likely died.
Family
In 1609, Jan Jerzy Radziwill married Princess Eleonora Ostrozhskaya (1582-1618), the daughter of Janusz Konstantinovich Ostrozhsky (1554-1620), a major Ukrainian prince-magnate and castellan of Krakow, and Susanna Seredi (1566-1596), the widow of Hieronymus Yazlovetsky (d. 1607). ), from a marriage with which he had no children.
In 1625, after the death of the childless Jan Jerzy Radziwill, the Nesvizh ordination passed to his younger brother Albrecht Vladislav.

Jonas Jurgis Radvila (lenk. Jan Jerzy Radziwiłł; 1588 m. sausio 8 d. Černovčicuose – 1625 m. gruodžio 18 d. Trakuose) – Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės didikas, Abiejų Tautų Respublikos valstybės ir karinis veikėjas.

Biografija

Kunigaikštis, kilęs iš Gediminaičių Radvilų giminės Olykos- Nesvyžiaus linijos,[1] tėvas Mikalojus Kristupas Radvila Našlaitėlis, motina Elžbieta Eufemija Vyšnioviecka, pirmasis šeimos sūnus. Broliai Albertas Vladislovas Radvila, Kristupas Mikalojus Radvila, Žygimantas Karolis Radvila, Aleksandras Liudvikas Radvila, sesuo Elžbieta Radvilaitė-Tečinskienė.

Mokėsi Nesvyžiaus, Branevo ir Augsburgo kolegiumuose, po to keliavo po Vokietiją ir Italiją. 1611 metais Jonas Jurgis Radvila buvo išrinktas pasiuntiniu į seimą, 1616 metais buvo išrinktas Lietuvos tribunolo maršalka. Palaikė Zigmanto Vazos politiką, ne kartą buvo senatoriumi-rezidentu prie karaliaus.

1613 metais Jonas Jurgis Radvila gavo Trakų kašteliono pareigybę. 1616 metais, po savo tėvo Mikaklojaus Kristupo Radvilos Našlaitėlio mirties paveldėjo Nevyžiaus ordinaciją, valdė dvaro žemes Ukrainoje.

1619 metais įvykdė didelę kelionę į užsienį, kurios metu aplankė Vokietiją, Belgiją, Angliją, Prancūzuiją, Ispaniją ir Italiją. 1621 metais įstojo į Padujos universitetą, o 1625 metais – į Bolonijos universitetą.

Paskutiniais Jono Jurgio Radvilos gyvenimo metais (1625) dabartinėje Baltarusijos teritorijoje kilo maro epidemija, nuo kurios, greičiusiai, ir mirė.

II Nesvyžiaus valdytojas. Vedė Eleonorą Ostrogiškę (Eleonora z Ostrigskich), tačiau palikuonių nesusilaukė. Valstybės tarnyba
