Sir John Cope, 6th Baronet Cope of Hanwell

From the book, "Baronetage of England," printed for John Stockdale, published 1806: Sir John succeeded his brother Anthony, 4th Baronet, who died without a male heir. He married Anne, daughter of Mr. Phillip Booth. They had a daughter Elizabeth, who died young, and seven sons: John; Anthony; Charles; Galen; Daniel; Albian, and William. Daniel, Albian and William all died unmarried Sir John died on 1 Jan. 1721 and was succeeded by his eldest son.

Sir John, 6th Baronet Cope of Hanwell, married Alice, the daughter of Sir Humphrey Monnoux, Baronet of Wotton, in Bedfordshire. They had two sons, Monnoux and John, and a daughter, Anne. Sir John died on 8 Dec. 1749
