Biography

Abijah was born in 1717 at Swansea, Massachusetts, the daughter of James Brown and Elizabeth Bowen.[1] She was named in her father's will.

Abijah married Josiah Humphrey at Barrington in 1738.[2][3] They had children:[4]

Elkanah b. 18 February 1739
Rachel b. 16 April 1742
Lillis b. 7 May 1745
Josiah b. ~1753
She passed away in 1801 and is buried at Prince's Hill Burial Ground in Barrington.[5]
