Abigail Phillips was the daughter of James Phillips and Abigail Hathaway. Her married name was French.

Abigail Phillips married Joseph Richmond, son of Joseph Richmond and Mary Andrews, on 20 April 1737 at Berkley. Her married name was Richmond.

Abigail Phillips died after 25 December 1772.
