Joseph Richmond was born circa 1686 at prob., Taunton. He was the son of Joseph Richmond and Mary Andrews.

Joseph Richmond married Hannah Deane, daughter of Benjamin Deane and Sarah Williams, on 12 April at Raynham.

Joseph Richmond married Abigail Phillips, daughter of James Phillips and Abigail Hathaway, on 20 April 1737 at Berkley.

Joseph Richmond died between 2 December 1750 and 5 February 1750/51 at Berkley.
