Able C. Kunz passed away August 28, 1989 in a Bountiful, Davis County, Utah Care Center. Born August 23, 1896, Williamsburg, Idaho to John Kunz III and Margaret Lauener Kunz. Married Hattie Mae Tingey, December 10, 1919, in the Salt lake L.D.S. Temple. She preceded him in death in April of 1976. An active member of the L.D.S. Church; serving in two bishoprics, a mission with his wife, and as a temple worker in St. George. Able was a successful farmer and rancher in the Bear Lake Valley for most of his life. He was a hard worker in every way; but even as he struggled at the thought of leaving this world, he would remind his family that life is what we make of it. Survivors include a son, Dean T. (Laura) Kunz, Rigby, Idaho; two daughters, Lola M. Wilcock, Orem; and E. Marjean Beyeler, Azusa, California; 14 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Mae Michaelson. Funeral services will be at Matthews mortuary in Montpelier, Idaho, on Thursday, August 31, 1989 at 12 noon, where friends may call for one hour prior to the services.
