About Abra Violet Lessenevitch
In 1898 she was named, with her sisters Ellen Elizabeth Wienholt, Florence Wienholt, Mabel Hutton Wienholt, and Jessie Clementina Wienholt, as a claimant to property left by her uncle Arnold, who died in Switzerland in 1895. The sisters were then all spinsters living at Ballingham Mansions, Pitt street, Kensington, in the county of Middlesex.
From the Queensland Figaro, Brisbane, 26 January 1929: "On November 16th, at the Russian Church, Paris, Colonel Pierre De Lessenevitch, late of Le Regiment de Crimee a Cheval de Sa Majeste l'lmperatrice Alexandra Feodorovna, was married to Abra Violet Wienholt, of Fassifern, Queensland."
