About Abraham Gale
Served in the Revolutionary War. He was in Capt. Boaz Moore's Company in the Lexington Alarm to Concord and Cambridge. Abraham was a member of Shay's Rebellion as a Captain of a company of 60 armed Regulators from Princeton which marched to Worcestor Nov. 21, 1786, closed the courthouse and forced the Court to adjourn. The following month Daniel Shays with many of the same men at Worcestor compelled the Court to adjourn and signed a petition that no courts be held till after the next meeting of the Legislature.
