Abraham Honaker was a son, born to Hans Jacob Honaker and Marie Goetz in 1774 in VA.

Abraham Honaker was a fine gun maker. A number of Honakers were gunsmiths, including some of his children.
Abraham married Sarah Ann Cline, the daughter of Peter Cline & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Riffe (Rife) of Montgomery Co.,VA.
They settled in Pulaski County, VA, near Page's Meeting House. Family tradition has it that Abraham was a large man & Sarah was quite small, weighing less than 100 lbs. Sarah's nephew, Perry Cline was a principle figure in the Hatfield McCoy feud.
Abraham died on June 26, 1869 at Bland County, VA. Abraham & Sarah Honaker are buried in the Honaker Cemetery, Draper, Pulaski County, VA.
