A Patriot of the American Revolution for PENNSYLVANIA with the rank of Private. DAR Ancestor # A093964
Served during the Revolutionary War. In 1778 & 79 he was in Capt. John Smuller's Company of the 7th Battalion of the Lancaster County Militia commanded by Col. Lowery. In 1780 & 81 & 82 & 83 he was in Capt. Andrew Reams Company of the 3rd Battalion of the Lancaster County Militia commanded by Lieut. Col. George Feather.

He was the son of Abraham Ream and Joanna Maria Leinbach. He married Rosana Hein on March 6, 1775 in Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Inscription: Abraham Ream Departed this life August 6, 1824, aged ? ? months
