Abraham Johannes Smit (1902 - 1985)

Brief overview:

Abraham (83), a retired Judge, was attacked and killed on his farm 'Wilhelm's Hoehe', outside Bloemfontein, on 24th December 1985. His sister, who was also on the farm at the time, was wounded but survived the attack.

Abraham was allegedly shot dead, but the official cause of death is recorded as, "fractures of facial bones pelvis and limbs". It is likely that he was severely assaulted as well.
