Brief overview:
Abram (82), was sleeping in his house on his farm in Western Cape when he was awoken by a noise. He took his shotgun and went to investigate. He saw two men running out of the house. The sliding door had been forced open and the room ransacked. His video recorder and hi-fi set were gone. Faure then noticed a man standing in the passage with a shiny object in his hand. He fired a shot at the man, fatally wounding him. A pair of scissors were found on the body.
