Israel Griffin is buried in the Evans Cemetery in Main Street [Routes 16 & 2] in Gorham, NH. His stone is difficult to read. He is buried with Levi Carter, formerly of Littleton, NH, so one can assume that he possibly was not married.

He does have a brother also buried in Evans Cemetery in Gorham: Daniel Griffin served with Co. E, 14th [12th?] NH infantry in the Civil War. No dates for birth or death.

Daniel's wife was Achsa (sp.?) who died Dec. 16, 1869 at age 43 years + 11 months. She is buried with him.

Also in this plot is William M. Griffin: March 20, 1867 to April 3, 1945
