About Ada (Henny) Marie Christine Forsberg
Mrs Ada Forsberg died in the Lake Julia T.B. Sanatorium at Bemidji, Minnesota. Beltrami County. DOB Feb 27, 1901 in Strandquist, Minnesota. Her husband's name was Andrew Forsberg and they lived at Northome / Minnesota / Koochiching County. She had been in the hospital for 11 months but the disease had been with her for some years. Her parents were Marie and Jonas Lofstrom. She was buried at Bemidji on January 23, 1926. Andrew was still alive and there is no mention of her children. DOD January 20, 1926 / clf

Because we really did not know what Ada's name was - for sure - we seached in vain for her death certificate for years. Finally - my sister Leanne found her listed alphabetically under "M" for Mrs. Go figure.
Dad said Ada and Andrew had two small boys in the early 1920s who died of spinal meningitis. It is believed that her husband died not many years after her. Uncle Leo also refers to this in one of his bios. "Sister Henny had married Andrew Forsberg and moved to the states where they all died. They had two sons."
Ada Forsberg crossed the border at Manitoba into the USA on April 24, 1922. 21 years old. / clf
