Adam Muir

ADAM MUIR (aka ADAME MUIR)

Adam Muir is the son of Robert Muir, merchant in Glasgow, and his first wife Jonet Findlay. He was born before 17 February 1661, the date upon which his baptism was registered at High Church parish in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. His date of death is not known but no provision was made for any surviving children in the testament dative of his deceased mother, and it is supposed, therefore, that Adam Muir must have died before his widowed father gave this up on 10 February 1666.
