Married to W. Littell White prior to TL Bean. The marriage had a scandalous end to it: (from local PA press) " SOCIETY MATRON AND LAWYER ACCUSED OF ALIENATING HER LOVE "
(included photo montage) "Mrs Adele Cantrell White and Theodore Lane Bean" ' Mrs. White, who has a passion for horseback riding, is the wife of Mr. Littell White, the general manager of the S.S. White Dental Manufacuring Company. He has sued Mr. Bean for $50,000.00 damages. The lawyer, who has a country home in Port Kennedy Pa., formerly was Assistant District Attorney of Montgomery County. Mrs. White is now living in Wayne.
• • The Cantrell family aligned with the Beans even after their daughter married Theodore Lane Bean in 1917:

Engagements Mr. & Mrs. Theodore Lane Bean, of Norristown, Pa., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Margaret White, and Daniel Stewart Holder, of New York, son of Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Curtis Holder of New Orleans.
