Agatha de Clere

The de Clere family of Sinnington was never all that numerous, and Agatha appears to have been the last of the direct line. Avice, Amice or Avicia de Plumpton who married Nigel de Plumpton, may have been her sister.

Child of Roger de Clere and Maud de Fay was: Agatha de Clere b abt 1220, of Sinnington, Yorkshire, and Shere and Bramley, Surrey, England.... She md William le Rus abt 1236, son of Hugh le Rus. (Sinnington was the ancestral manor, and she may have been born there.)
