From The Calgary Herald -obituary, Thursday, November 1, 1973, pg 47:
'DIBB--October 30, 1973, Mrs. Agnes Catherine Dibb, (passed away at Edmonton after a lengthy illness), beloved mother of Mrs. R.H. (Una) Teskey of Edmonton and Mrs. R.R. (Doris) Dutka of Calgary. Mrs. Dibb is survived by one sister, Mrs. E.J. Clark of Wenatchee, Washington; one brother, Mr. Walter Ryning of Drumheller, Alberta; several nieces and nephews and five granddaughters.
Mrs. Dibb was born in Duluth, Minnesota and came to the Rowley district with her parents in 1910 where she met and married her husband, David in 1919. Their Marriage was announced in the Duluth Herald on March 4 1919 in the following terms, "Mrs. John P. Scott announces the marriage of her sister, Miss Agnes Kathryn Ryning of Rumsey, Alta.. formerly of this City, to David Dibb .. manager of the Crown Lumber company of Hichdale, Alta.. where the couple will make their future home." Before being married Mrs. Dibb taught school for several years in the Rowley district. They lived in the Richdale and Huxley district of Central Alberta from 1919-1930 at which time they moved to Black Diamond. It was in Black Diamond David predeceased her in December, 1945. Mrs. Dibb then moved to Calgary where she resided until 1967 when she moved to Edmonton to live with her daughter, Una. It was in Edmonton she became a member of the Gospel Centre Pentecostal Church of Edmonton.'
