Diana Maria Edkins, daughter of Mrs. Walter Edkins of Jamaica Estates, Queens, and the late Dr. Edkins, was married yesterday to Philip Morrison Richardson Jr., son of Mrs. Richardson of Boothbay Harbor, Me., and the late Dr. Richardson. The Rev. Dr. F. Forrester Church performed the ceremony at the Unitarian Church of All Souls.
The bride is a photographic historian, writer on photography, curator of the Conde Nast photographic collection and permissions editor for Conde Nast publications. She graduated from New York University and received an M.F.A. in photographic history from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her father was a surgeon and urologist.
Mr. Richardson, a vice president and manager of the investmentbanking division of Ehrlich-Bober & Company, graduated in 1959 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His father was chairman of the biology department at Simmons College.
The bride was attended by her sister, Carol Edkins, and Tina Davis. S. David Kay was best man. The ushers were Keith and Jeremy Richardson, sons of the bridegroom from his previous marriage, which ended in divorce.
