1 October 1545: Charter by which the Queen confirms possession of the lands of Auchinraith in the barony of Blantyre to John Dunbar of Blantyre and his wife Agnes Mure. This land had previously been resigned by John Dunbar of Blantyre in order to obtain a new grant in favour of himself and his wife. John and his wife were to hold this land in conjunct fee and liferent and it was to descend to their legitimate heirs. Registrum Magni Sigilli Regum Scotorum. 30 September 1563: Charter by which the Queen confirms possession of the barony of Blantyre, in the sheriffdom of Lanark, and the lands of Enterkin in the sheriffdon of Ayr, to William Dunbar, son and apparent heir of John Dunbar of Blantyre. These lands had previously been resigned by John Dunbar of Blantyre, who reserved his own liferent, and that of his wife Agnes Mure. Registrum Magni Sigilli Regum Scotorum.
