One of the most remarkable cases that have over come before the Courts was heard on Wednesday at the Campbelltown Court House, before Mr. F. R. Wilshire. Mr. Passmore appeared for the complainant, Agnes Jane Taylor, and Mr. Charles Bull appeared for Mr. Wonson, the defendant.
This was a case in which Mrs. Taylor, the wife of a laborer on the Cataract Dam, sued Mr. William Wonson, under-manager of the works at the Cataract Dam, for the maintenance of her two youngest children, whose father was, she asserted, not her husband, but William Wonson.

The death occurred in Brisbane on
August 6 of Mrs. Agnes Jane Taylor, who for many years has been a resident of Appin. She was the widow of the late Wm. Chas. Henry Taylor and was 82 years of age at the time of her death which took place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. Dean. She was buried in Brisbane. To her bereaved relatives we extend our sympathy.
