About Ahmed-Abouelfetouh Mahmoud FAKHRY, Bey
He is HM King Fouad I's first grandchild and King Farouk's nephew (though same generation). He was born in Guiza (Cairo) at his mother's (Princess Fewkieh Fouad) house - today Egypt's Senate building - but left Egypt at age 3 following his father's (Mahmoud Fakhry Pasha) nomination as Minister Plenipotentiary & Envoy Extraordinary (Ambassador) to Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Bern (Switzerland), Madrid (Spain), and Lisbon (Portugal) all at the same time (sic!). He studied at Lycée Henri IV, Lycée Jeanson de Sailly, Institut Raymond Poincarré, and Institut Polytechnique, Paris, France. Chemical Engineer. He returned to Egypt in 1955 at his father's death. Founder, Proprietor and President of A. Fakhry & Co (1955-1998).
