Albert and twin brother Edward were born into a family of eleven children. His father died when he was two years old. A sister was born some months later making a family of fourteen. Times were hard during the thirties but “Mother” Hay kept the family together. In 1956 Albert married Pearl Bolton daughter of Hazel Bolton and the late Arthur Bolton. They purchased the home place SW 14-45-23-W4 where they still reside. Their children Lyle William born May 27, 1958 is a heavy duty mechanic at P. & B. Equipment Wetaskiwin. Wayne Douglas born Nov. 4 1959 drives a school bus to Rosebrier School and Marlene Louise born Nov. 24, 1960 is married to Rollin Christenson and they make their home in Tofield.
