Посвящен в сан священника в Санкт-Петербурге в 1779 году - Вуоле викарий (в Ингрии 1779 г.) Вениоки пробст 1814 г. Центральная Ингрия. Постоянный декан в 1820 Лютеранской консистории.Он начал изучение теологии в университете в Турку (Або) с 08.03.1775. В 1777 году он окончил курс богословского факультета и назначен адъюнктом к своему отцу в Вуолес и после его смерти в 1787 году сделался настоятелем Вуолесского прихода. Позднее стал пробстом лютеранской церкви Шлюссербург. В 1817 году он приглашён пастором в Славянку. Здесь он получил титул пробста – сеньора в Ингерманландии и стал членом консистории в Санкт-Петербурге. Volume 828-14/5B Some data about Avenarius family tree. The most reliable can be considered the study made by J.Mukula and J.Avenarius according to which the ancestors of Russian Avenariuses were Finns. This fact is confirmed by numerous documents. The main connecting link with other representatives of Avenarius family tree is their belonging to Lutheranism. They are also integrated by the family name itself. The chain Habermann -Kauranen -Avenarius when translated into Russian means oatsman (or simply Ovsov in Russian). Due to the fact that in the spiritual world of that time Latin dominated, preference was given to Latin names Thus the family name. AVENARIUS became firmly established. The origin of the Russian branch of Avenarius family is connected ethnically with Finns and Swedes as well as with Germans and Russians which left its specific imprint on its further history .So having become Russian national subjects the first Avenariuses still used to speak Finnish or Swedish for a long time at home and only later the Russian and the German language became their way of life. Russianizing of the family is especially marked at the turn of XIX – XX centuries. If for obvious reasons the first marriages with Germans practicing Evangelical and Lutheran religion prevailed, by the beginning of the XX century men loyal to the tsarist monarchy started marrying their Orthodox partners.
