He left a will on 8 Jul 1695; These children were mentioned in settlement, recorded in Sheriff-Court at Ayr, June 7, 1697.99

    Alexander Kennedy was the son of Sir Alexander Kennedy and Agnes Kennedy.1 He married by contract, secondly, Anna Crawford, daughter of William Crawford, on 14 December 1683.2 He died circa 1698.2

Alexander Kennedy held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayr.2 He lived at Kilhenzie, Argyllshire, Scotland.2 He lived at Craigoch.1
