ALEXANDER STEWART OF AVANDALE
Alexander Stewart of Avondale was the son of Walter Stewart of Morphie and his wife Elizabeth Arnot. He died before 6 June 1489. He held the office of Lord Auditor in January 1488-89

14 February 1481-82: Charter de me by Colin, earl of Ergile, to Duncan Campbell of Glenurcharde, of lands of Kilbride excepting the half merkland of Le Fery of Cragane, in earldom of Argyll, sheriffdom thereof, and that for renunciation of all title and claim to a third part of lands of Dolare in sheriffdom of Clakmanan, and a third part of lands of Auchierneside in sheriffdom of Perth, 4 February 1481/2.
