Who this John Waters was (and if his name was really John Waters), his dates and places of birth and death, and his relationship, if any, to other Waters families, are all unknown. He has been identified with the John Waters who married Alice Getlande, but this is doubtful and unsupported.

Alice married John Waters on September 1 1606, at age 14 in All Saints, Hastings, Sussex, England. John was born on November 22 1590, in Eastcote, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. They had one son: Samuel Waters. Alice passed away circa 1626, at age 34 in Eastcott, Northampton, England. She was buried in England

Some MAAAAD inconsistencies here! People were usually baptized where they were born or the closest place to it - NOT clear across the country. Baptism and marriage argue for her being a Sussex native, and husband probably likewise.
