Scharberg Funeral Set for Wednesday

Rock Dell-Arrangements are complete for the funeral of Allen Scharberg, 29-year-old Rock Dell farmer who was killed Friday in an auto crash near Townsend, Mont. The Rev. Arnold Melom will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday in the Richard Scharberg farm near Hayfield and at 2 p. m. in West St. Olaf Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Scharberg was born April 29, 1929, in Vernon Twp., Dodge County, and married the former Gwendolyn Stevens, who died in 1952. He married the former Jo Ann Peck, July 31, 1953, and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Robert, 9; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scharberg of rural Hayfield; grandmother, Mrs. Martha Lee of Hayfield, and four sisters, Mrs. Ted Thoreson of Mora, Mrs. Clayton Strandlie of Minneapolis, Mrs. Robert Kruger of Hayfield and Miss Ann Marie Scharberg, at home, A son James, died in 1953. Friends may call untill 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Hayfield Funeral Home and afterward at the Richard Scharberg home. Pallbearers are David Gilderhus, Norlan Lee, Merlin Stevens, Clinton Stensrud, David Thoe and Eugen Senjem.
