When Allan Walter Wilson was born on 28 March 1842 in Wellington, Wellington, his father, James, was 42 and his mother, Ann, was 33. He married Margaret Anne / Annie Wilson nee Lumsden on 12 January 1865 in Turakina, Manawatu-Wanganui. They had five children during their marriage. He died on 24 October 1925 in New Plymouth, Taranaki, at the age of 83, and was buried there.

OKAIAWA.

(from our own correspondent.) We have lost one of our yonng ladies. Mr. Allan Wilson's second daughter was married to Mr. Thomas, Baldwin, \,of Taranaki, on New Year's Eve.
