Allen Dowell Basham

Allen is the son of Obediah and Celia Dowell Basham. He came to Kentucky through the Cumberland Gap with his family in 1808, when he was but 4 years old. He ultimately settled along Sinking Creek, close to Clifton Mills, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. His first wife was Melinda Davis Dalton, his second wife Susan Pumphrey, and third wife Elizabeth D. Wolf(e).
