in Bible record of Allen's oldest son, William Cherry Taylor,
statesthat
Allen died 14 Sep 1878, Friday morning at 3 o'clock. A hundred year
reference calendar shows that Friday fell on 13 Sep 1878.

Note: Allen was a farmer by profession who inherited quite a bit
ofhis
father's land near Richardsville. He was one of the founders of
theGreen
River Union Church and on the Board of Trustees.
Nephew Pleasant Green Taylor (son of William) went back to Warren
Co.on an
LDS Mission 1870-72 and visited with this Uncle. He got
muchinformation about
the Taylor family from Allen. We have a picture of him.
Allen was named on his father's Will, dtd 1 Dec. 1815.

but since he left a will and was apparently uncontested, there
wouldbe no need
to have an estate sale or division of land since his will should
