A Mass of Christian burial for Alma J. Seiwald, 92, Eudora, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Seiwald died Sunday, April 19, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sept. 18, 1899, in Eudora, the daughter of Wendelin and Barbara Ernst Schehrer. She was a lifelong resident of Eudora.

She married Alfred Seiwald on May 14, 1924, in Eudora. He died on Oct. 20, 1989.

Mrs. Seiwald was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, the St. Theresa's Club and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosalene Kelly, Lawrence; a sister, Martha Seiwald, Eudora; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn., which may be sent in care of the funeral home.
